Matt Bersin completed his Juris Doctor in May 2025 at American University Washington College of Law, where he studied environmental law as part of AUWCL’s Program on Environmental and Energy Law, with a focus on natural resources law and fisheries management, and participation in the Sustainable Development Law & Policy Brief. Before joining HTHG, Matt was a Legal Fellow with the Southern Utah Wildlife Alliance, where he worked on projects involving the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), Quiet Title law, and oil and gas leasing issues. Before attending AUWCL, Matt received his undergraduate degree in History from Loyola Marymount University with minors in Philosophy and Political Science.
